Description
Domestic On Construction Energy Assessor - 4 Day Virtual Classroom
Awarding Body: ABBE
Qualification Title: Level 3 Certificate in Domestic On Construction Energy Assessment
This is a professional qualification for those who wish to pursue a career as a Domestic On Construction Energy Assessor also known as a SAP Assessor. Once qualified, learners register with an Accreditation Scheme, which accredits them to produce Building Regulations Compliance Statements and Energy Performance Certificates for newly built homes, in accordance with the Building Regulations and legislation on the Energy Performance of Buildings.
The course is conducted over four consecutive days in a virtual classroom environment. During the course students will have opportunity to interact with a live tutor and ask questions. This face to face interaction is invaluable. Once the training session is complete candidates are required to produce a portfolio of five example projects and other assignments. Two of these projects will be completed during the course and the remaining three will be provided for students to complete remotely after the training session.
The course tutors are experienced and qualified energy assessors who hold the Assessor and IQA qualifications to ensure a thorough assessment of your portfolio.

Q: Are then any hidden or extra costs?
A: The price you see advertised includes everything you need to achieve the qualification. This includes the ABBE registration fee, all training and course materials, unlimited portfolio attempts and your final Certificate.
*Please note there will be ongoing accreditation & software licensing costs once you are qualified and become accredited.
Q: What happens after I am qualified?
A: Once qualified you will need to become a member of an approved accreditation body. Most of them are free to join and charge a lodgement fee each time you produce and register an EPC. This cost is approximately £7.00 + VAT per certificate.
Q: Do Energy Trust offer student finance?
