This 2 day classroom based course will give you the skills required to survey buildings and produce accurate Energy Performance Certificates for domestic dwellings. These EPCs are required to be produced by law when a property is Sold, Let, Built and as part of the governments new Green Deal Scheme. EPCs are also required for all Solar PV installations.
There is a requirement for the candidate to produce a portfolio of 5 sample properties which can be carried out remotely after attending the course in their own time. Students will be assigned a personal tutor for the duration of the course who will help guide you through the portfolio production process via our unique online E-portfolio system.
