What’s involved in NDEA training?
This NDEA training course is available to more experienced candidates who want to be involved in producing the mandatory energy performance certificates for commercial buildings which are either sold or rented.
NDEA Training is your route to become qualified as a NDEA in the quickest time possible. You will need to enrol on the level 3 or 4 NDEA course in your chosen area.
We have many locations and course dates to choose from. During your 4 or 5 day attendance you will learn all aspects of commercial energy assessment which includes surveying, building identification techniques, heating & lighting, understanding iSBEM software and learning to energy rate properties.
All our courses include live property assessments to give you real hands on experience in preparation for your new career role.
Energy Trust is able to offer the training course in only 5 days because,
Unlike some other courses, our energy assessor trainers make your training assessment more efficient by accompanying you on visits to live commercial properties during your course and then returning to the classroom to input the data into the iSBEM software to generate your Energy Performance Certificates.
In addition to this we are able to allow you to take your energy assessment exam on-line on the final day of the course and provide you with your results on the same day.
This saves you having to wait at least 1 month for an exam date and then another 2 weeks for the results.
Once the NDEA training course has finished you only need to submit some further paperwork much of which is provided for you in templates to complete your portfolio and you can be fully qualified in a matter of weeks as opposed to months.
